B2 Course  for professionals

• Course starting dates:

     18.10.2023 / 23.11.2023 / 11.01.2024

• Entry condition: German B1 Certificate or Entry Test
• Registration ends 2 week before course start
• Max. 25 doctors / dentists per course
• 5 teaching units per day, 5 days per week for 16 weeks
• Course costs paid by the Bundesamt für Migration & Flüchtlinge (BAMF)

C1 Course for academic health professions preparing for the Medical / Dental German Exam

• Course starting dates:

     27.10.2023 / 21.11.2023 / 19.12.2023 / 09.01.2024 / 30.01.2024 

• Entry condition: German B2 Certificate
• Registration ends 2 week before course start
• Max. 10 doctors / dentists per course
• 6 teaching units per day, 5 days per week for 20 weeks
• Latin and German terminology taught by experienced staff
• Course costs paid by the Bundesamt für Migration & Flüchtlinge (BAMF)

• Providing lists with relevant vocabulary
• Daily vocabulary training and regular tests
• Grammar
• Introduction to the German health system
• Intercultural communication in the medical / dental field
• Practicing the speaking parts of the Medical / Dental German Exam in groups and one to one training
• Doctor / dentist - patient conversations
• Doctor / dentist - doctor / dentist conversations
• Requesting information on the patient‘s medical / dental history
• Presenting medical / dental cases
• Explaining examinations and treatment plans
• Practicing the written parts of the Medical / Dental German Exam
• Filling in medical / dental history forms
• Writing doctor / dental letters
• Documentation of examination results
• Taking notes of telephone conversations
• Preparing job applications
