C1 Courses for Doctors/Dentists/Pharmacists preparing for the German Medical Exam

1. B2 German Course (if required)

• Course starting dates:

• Entry condition: German B1 Certificate or Entry Test
• Registration ends 4 week before course start
• Max. 25 doctors / dentists per course
• 5 teaching units per day, 5 days per week for 16 weeks
• Course costs paid by the Bundesamt für Migration & Flüchtlinge (BAMF)
• Limited places available

2. C1 Course for academic health professions preparing for the German Language Exam

• Course starting dates:

     5 times per month, please contact us for the exact starting dates

• Entry condition: German B2 Certificate
• Registration ends 4 weeks before course start
• Max. 8 doctors / dentists per course
• 6 teaching units per day, 5 days per week for 20 weeks
• Latin and German terminology taught by experienced staff
• Course costs paid by the Bundesamt für Migration & Flüchtlinge (BAMF)

Course content

These courses provide language instruction at C1 level. The aim of the courses is to promote a high degree of linguistic freedom. The focus is on:
• Grammar
• Vocabulary expansion
• Flexible and effective communication in various contexts, such as everyday life and work. Professional situations include, for example, medical history interviews, briefings, discussions with colleagues, consultations, etc.
• Specialist topics: discussing medical conditions, examinations, and treatment options.
• Specialist language: correct and appropriate use of specialist terms
• Specialist content: medical, dental, and pharmaceutical topics.
